The drill team practices Sundays 10am - 1pm in preparation for an annual competition in February.  Teams from all of the neighbouring Corps gather together to show the drill, dress and deportment.  Drill has been used for centuries as an excellent tool to develop team work, pride and comradery.   But generally the Cadets (when they get the hang of it) just find it fun to be a part of.   There is an annual competition at HMCS Star (Hamilton's navy base) between all of the local corps.  The winner moves on to the Provincial Championships in Trenton or Kingston.
