As part of being a member of Navy League, cadets participate in other activities as listed below:

Remembrance Day Parade:  Every year NLCC Cougar with assemble with all of the other down town corps, being regular force, reservse, Air, Army & Sea Cadets and parade out of the Hamilton Armouries to pay their respects at Gore Park.  For the youngest cadets this can be a profound experience taking a small step into the larger military world and gain a much deeper understanding of remembrance day than can be achieved only at school.

Santa Clause Parade:  The cadets form up with their corps and RCSCC Lion and parade through downtown Hamilton.

​

Battle of Atlantic:  Held annually the first Sunday in May at HMCS Starr to remember The Battle of Atlantic and  Hamilton's role.
